The Sonera mobile app for Android brings cloud transcription and AI editing to your phone.

Requirements

• Android 8.0 or later
• Active internet connection for cloud transcription
• A Sonera account (free)

Dictating

1. Open the Sonera app
2. Tap the large microphone button at the bottom
3. Speak clearly — the waveform shows it is recording
4. Tap again to stop, or it will stop automatically after silence
5. Your transcription appears in the text area

AI Editing

After transcription, use the AI bar below the text to give voice or text commands. You can also create custom prompt profiles for full control over how the AI processes your text.

History

All cloud transcriptions are saved to your history. Tap any entry to view, copy, or delete it. History syncs across your desktop and mobile devices.

Settings

Access settings from the bottom navigation bar:

• API Keys — Add your Groq/OpenAI keys (BYOK plan)
• Language — Set transcription language or use auto-detect
• AI Model — Choose your preferred transcription provider
